National Application for Tracking and Recovering Lost Official IDs

Loss of official documents (passport, national identity, voter card, etc.) are frequent problems in Iraq without the existence of a national system to track and recover these important lost items. In this research, we provide a practical solution to this problem through mobile applications and with the help of Internet of Things (IoT) network services. Google's cloud database (Firebase) has been relied upon, where records are filled on the cloud, by reading the icons in the lost items, using short-term communication technologies such as; Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The system provides a mechanism for recording, detecting and alerting missing documents found and locating automatically located them in record time. The waiting system has been activated in the event of an interruption of the connection to the Internet and the postponement of operations until the return of the call, in addition to the formation of secret codes consisting of six numbers for the purpose of receiving the lost items. In this application, we present an initial practical model for an Android application consisting of about (16,500) Kotlin-language code, spread over (78) programming files.
